Mrs. Mac's Coffee Cake
From Elaine Maxwell
This recipe was in my late mother-in-law's recipe box, and we enjoyed
this wonderful cake for several years.
As far as we know, it originated back in the early 1800's. Mrs. Mac was
the mother of my mother-in-law's best friend, Betsy Mac. Her mother was
given the recipe from her mother, who got it from her mother.
I keep extra copies around because, without a doubt, someone will ask for
them.
I hope you enjoy this as much as we do.
